Spelling Bee Countdown

This spelling bee is an annual event hosted by the Marathon County Literacy Council. This year, it will be held on October 7th at 6pm. Like last year, it will be at the Labor Temple (318 S 3rd Ave, Wausau, WI 54401).

Want to watch the best Spellers in Wausau compete for the top spot? Interested in participating in a fun night with food, fun activities, and competition? 

Consider joining McLit at our Annual Adult Spelling Bee! 

There will also be a silent auction and 50-50 raffle held throughout the event and during breaks between rounds. 

Think you are up to the challenge? Do you have a knack for words and spelling? 

If you want a chance to prove yourself, compete in our event!

To register as a participant you must be sponsored by an organization, group, or individual donating at or greater than the 'Bumble Bee' Level. There will be two people per team.

     QUEEN BEE (Gold Sponsor) $1,000 

• Two Team in the Spelling Bee
• Recognition & Logo on Website, Social Media, in Program Booklet, and at Event
• Tickets for 6 Attendees

     HONEYBEE (Silver Sponsor) $500

• One Team in the Spelling Bee
• Recognition & Logo on Website, Social Media, in Program Booklet, and at Benefit
• Tickets for 4 Attendees

     BUSY BEE (Bronze Sponsor) $250

• One Team in the Spelling Bee
• Recognition & Logo on Social Media, in Program Booklet, and at Benefit
• Tickets for 2 Attendees

     BUMBLEBEE (Team Sponsor) $100 

• One Team in the Spelling Bee
• Recognition & Logo in Program Booklet
